Hi Guys,
My hackintosh was working fine, installed everything. Then it froze so i did a hard boot, holding down the power button, and now it turns off halfway into booting.

My Specs:
MB:Gigabyte Z97M-D3H
CPU:I7 4970K (Stock Cooler)
RAM:16gb DDR3 16gb Ballistix Sport
SSD: Samsung evo 500gb BOOT DRIVE
HHD: 2tb WD
GPU: Onboard Graphics

Thanks for your help guys, anything will help.

As you are aware this may be a hardware problem.
You can troubleshoot the usual causes of freezing and failed boot: power supply, drive, memory.
You can try to restore from a clone/Time Machine backup.

Hi,

A little more information about the Freeze. It had been used for a few months, then out of the blue the screen froze and that was it.

I need to do the repairs myself as my mackintosh creator has gone away. Any ideas of what I need to do first?

Thanks
