Yosemite 10.10 random freezing.

Hey guys,

I had random freezes when installing via Unibeast as well. Tried a lot of different settings and drivers. Nothing solved the problem.
The only solution I could find was to install it via Clover. Had it running for a week now without any issues at all!

It does take a little longer to install, however totally worth it!

I was experiencing system freeze several times a day after installing Yosemite with Uni/MultiBeast.

System is working very nicely now after reinstalling with Clover.

I've noticed now that it's a ram error. Happens anytime my ram fills up. I don't know why it used to do it as much as it did but it has stopped. Now it only happens when I open huge sessions on Ableton.

Hi guys, I've found the workaround.

Cold start, then login, wait 3-5 minutes and restart.

After restart no freezes at all!

I had very similar problems...random freezing with a few windows open (ie: chrome running youtube, a simple card game, and music). It got so bad I was considering going back to Mavericks. However, on a whim, I decided I would try updating the FakeSMC plugins...and presto...one month freeze free.

Just download and run the latest Multibeast. Select only the FakeSMC and associated plugins. Then apply. Restart and repair permissions.

Worked for me. Just thought I'd share.
