Hi guys,
New here although have had my hackintosh for 4 years and have had no problems until now.
I wanted to install additional software instruments on garageband and in order to do so it asked me to update my OS from 10.10.4 to 10.10.5.
The update worked fine but since doing it I have no audio. Fired up garageband and get the message "selected driver not found (-10202)"
When i go to audio in sys preferences there is no inputs or outputs there.
I have been searching google for the last 3 hours looking for a solution with no luck.
Things I have tried:
Booting in safe mode then rebooting normally
Killing the coreaudiod in the activity monitor
entering a bunch of different stuff in the terminal, all of which asks me for a password then seems to do nothing.
From what I have read it seems that resetting the PRAM and NVRAM would sort it yet this doesnt apply to hackintosh or so I am told.
Any help greatly appreciated. Only reason I have a hackintosh is for audio purposes!
