Hey Guys,

right now, i can confirm you the following build as working:

Case:Nanoxia Deep Silence One
PSU: Enermax Revolution XT
Mainboard: GA-Z87X-UD3H
CPU: i7-4790K
Cooler: Thermalright Macho120
Graphics: Windforce GTX 770 2GB
RAM: 16GB Corsair RAM
SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 250GB
Case: Nanoxia Deep Silence One

The Install:

I had some (little) issues installing the Hackintosh because it is my first one but in General it is not really complicated.

1. Watch out that you've got the right BIOS for the i7 4790k if you're using the same MB. I am running F9 right know which works without issues.

2. BIOS-Settings (copied from gaspimps build because i used those and they worked)

- If you are not using onboard graphics you have to disable it!- Onboard SATA set to AHCI mode with Hot Plug turned on for every port
- XHCI mode set to Auto instead of Smart Auto
- EHCI Hand-off enabled
- XHCI Hand-off enabled
- Secure boot DISABLED
- Network stack DISABLED (this only affects the built in networking features of the UEFI bios, conflicts with AppleIntelE1000e)
- When booting Hackintosh volumes, you will see both a UEFI and non-UEFI version of the device in the boot list, use the non-UEFI version for quicker boot.

3. Boot Flags:
I used the newest UniBeast-Method to install OSX Mavericks 10.9.4 and hat to boot with :

-v -x maxmem=4096 (thanks pilgrim for the hint)

Without this flags i ended up in several Errors.

4. Installation:

The Installation went smooth without any issue.

5. Unibeast
The Unibeast Installation was also quiet easy.
used the following settings:

Well, and that was it.

This Hackintosh is used for Audio and Video Editing.
He is VERY quiet.

I hope everyone has no problems with this build :)

Nice Build!!

I was wondering if you had any problems until now?? I am planning on getting same parts as yours.

Would love to know geekbench score as well :)

thx

This looks sweet!

I'm looking to build a similar hackintosh for music production and I'm wondering how your build has fared the past few months in that regard.

Also, what sort of soundcard / audio interface and DAW do you use?

I love Ableton but have settled for using a USB 2.0 mic input (Audio Technica - good sound quality) and a cheap 1/4" to USB on my 2010 MacBook Pro. I'm hoping with a similar hackintosh I'll be able to record more tracks (multiple mics at least) at once without all the latency issues I've been seeing.

Great work and thanks for your post!
