ha! that actually worked...

- right click on the installer and select "Show package contents"
- go to contents / shared support and then mount the file...!

interesting though is i tried the xMove method and it worked the first time, and now i have to do it that way. i'm stuck currently stuck at DSMOS has arrived. lol
soooooooo close!

You are just right-clicking on the "xMove" file? I don't get an option for "show package contents"...

How big is the xMove file unzipped? Mine is 61kb...

sorry, i meant the actual Lion installer application

Don't right click on the xMove.app file, right click on the Install Mac OS X Lion.app file and choose show contents. Mount the InstallESD.dmg that is in contents/ShareSupport and then run xMove.
