XFX Radeon RX570 8GB Black Screen (HDMI and DVI) in Catalina 10.5.5

Hi,

I've upgrade to Catalina 10.5.5 and purchased the suggested XFX Radeon RX570 8GB from the Buyers Guide. I can boot with my old Radeon 6670 (albeit at basic 1280x1024 res as this card doesn't have a driver). I've tried first without WhateverGreen from MultiBeast 12.3.0 Edition and with and it didn't help.

I don't have a Display Port monitor to test these ports.

Any suggestion on getting past this?

I changed clovers config from connectors in the boot menu from 6 to 5. This gets me further (i hear gpu fan spin up) but still a black screen)

I bought a display port to hdmi and wasn’t able to get anything out of those ports either. Any suggestions would be greatfully received

i read all the information about using HackinTool, but since I can't boot into my MAC with the card plugged in, how do I fix it up?

Anyone got any ideas? How do I edit my system before I shut down and put the new card in?
