Hello Guys!

I've been a mac user for more than a decade now, and as lot of you i am very enthusiast about building my own :)

I want to build a simple, silent home cinema mac to replace my ending mac mini. It will be running itunes via ipad remote app and xbmc through the magic trackpad. It is connected to a stereo/dts receiver and a plasma screen. I watch my movies at 24p.

I read carefully throughout the forum and i found the parts that would suit me best i think :
- case : streacom FC8
- MB : gigabit H77N
- cpu : i3 3225
- 4 Go RAM
- 256Go SSD system + itunes
- 2To 3.5p movies
- 90W PicoPSU
- M-audio transit USB sound card (5.1 optical + stereo analog)

The only thing that bothers me is this 24p intel HD4000 bug that a lot of people are talking about.
-> Can someone enlighten my about it?
-> If this is really an issue, what about a silent pcie GC?

I have almost the same setup, with 8GB of RAM and use the HD3000. You can rectify this "bug" by simply changing the option in the preferences in XBMC to "Match playback device to video refresh rate".

It works fine. Check out my HTPC guide for how to configure.

Thank you for your answer.

Which option exactly are you talking about coz there are 2 options dealing with sincing :
