Anyone know the correct PCIid for the TB3 port?

I have the following in PCI list and none of them work.

Looks like its
Code:
PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x4)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)
however gfxutil shows
Code:
PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x4)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

Code:

LMAO right now just having 2 stick of 16GO 26666mghz
there's 2 fan push 1 pull
biios showing me 47°c for 4,3ghz

also have 10920x corsair 240mm water-cooling but in bigger case

There are another big sucks too in your config!:ugeek:

X299 on 2066 socket is a Intel Quad Channel Platform. For activate quad channel memory You need minimum 4 sticks of Ram. Even Dual Channel isn't activate with only 2 sticks of Ram on quad channel platform. With 2 sticks of Ram You can activate dual channel only on mainstrams dual channel platforms.

If You don't have quad channel activate on these platform You:

- Loose performance a lot!
- Get hard instability on heavy workload!

Today 32Go for quad channel isn't too much, You can get more 32Go easy, depending your work.

240mm radiator is quite for low range PCs with 4, 6 cores processor on dual channel platforms. For your other PC with Intel I9 10920X 12 cores processor 240mm radiator meybe good, not the best. Even in a big case. Take 280, 360 or custom watercooling. Today, the best AIO is Alphacool Eisbear 280, 360 and Be Quiet Pure Loop 360. NXZT 280/360 is good too.

A big aircooling like Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 or Noctua NH-15 Chromax is very good too for Intel X series processor. Low temps and very quiet.

Get an eye on thermal paste too. Get Thermal Grislly Kryonaut (not Conductonaut, only for delided procesors).

I know about the stick i live between 2 country with in 12 hours flight i try to split things and i forgot to bring back my ddr4 i have 64 go and now will have 96 go
maybe i go back with Dark rock it was not so convienant when you need to dig into the case but since i have 2 pc and don’t have take out the parts to travel with it.
will see what i can do to fit in that case trying not to have big case
thermal past i use now carbonaut

thanks for the info

also do we need smbus ? Looks like i don’t have it in the info

For activate quad channel correctly You must to be put 4 or 8 sticks of Ram rather than 6.

SMBus is in motherboards. You can manage it on bios and Windows if are You know what are You do. You need motherboard's drivers from manufacturer website. In MacOS I don't know how to manage that. Don't worry about smbus

I'm baaaaaack!!! It was the PSU (mobo was fine after all)!! Anyway I swapped X299-A for A II and it's flawless.

I attach the USB fresh made kext for X299-A II (sleep working) for @rustEswan :headbang:

Looks right, but the SSDT may be overriding what is filled in DeviceProperties. I believe Casey's SSDT defaults to Slot-4 but a simple find/replace can fix it :)

Excellent work!

I can't wait to get my machine back and get this implemented on mine, interested to take a look at the changes - how much did you have to change? Thank you

Not to much actually, I just used USBToolBox in Windows. I discovered all the ports and then I checked all ports' personalities and types. Please keep in mind that all the ports work in 3.x mode (Type A and Type C) but only one USB 2.0 header works (the one on the left) and only the two upper USB 2.0 and the case port USB 2.0 personality is mapped. This since I had to stay below 15 obviously. Anyway, I really suggest you to go map yourself customizing it according to your needs, it's easy in windows you just have to follow the link here:

11.5 Updated flawlessly with 3 reboots

Will be testing Monterey soon on a secondary SSD, Big Sur has been super stable for me so far.
