Still at a loss, Im not sure why its no longer booting up, any help would be greatly appreciated. Heres my updated EFI with the boot error
hi, have you looked on my post #613... ?Hi @ol2003 - you are 100% correct. I reverted to the "base" version with the 4 ssdt and the booting of the installer is going much further.
I get the Apple logo and then the dark grey background with a mouse pointer. It is not going further than this. I don't see the menu bar at the top or the setup screen in the middle... any ideas? Could it be that my Nvme is interfering? I am not planning to install macOS on the nvme but rather a 256GB SSD.
Much appreciated!
Lucky you, I’ve been hunting them for couple of days now and no luck.Today, on a Big Sur/OpenCore install, I’ll try to install the Radeon 6800xt, some comparisons will e made with the Radeon VII, stay tuned !

I followed every single step of Dortania Guide , and repeated this several times ... however no luck. Still the installer shows progress of 15min and stuck on this for hours.
Any help would be much appreciated, please.
Several users have reported that the card is working with Big Sur 11.1 Beta but without hardware acceleration.Unfortunately, the card is not plug and play for now: the boot sequence fails at one point.
I’ve read somewhere that the Radeon 68xx drivers are in the 11.1 beta, there‘s a workaround somewhere, for sure!
Nice powerful build :ASUS Rampage VI Extreme Encore
I think you have to wait until full support is added :Unfortunately, the card is not plug and play for now: the boot sequence fails at one point.

Great, basically all RDNA1 RX cards are fully compatible with macOS? Do they still need WEG + agdpmod=pikera even on MacPro7,1 according to your knowledge/experience?I think you have to wait until full support is added :
We find the different Navi device ids :

On the latest macOS Big Sur release :
On the AMDRadeonX6000.kext we have :
AMDRadeonX6000_AMDNavi10GraphicsAccelerator :

<string>0x73101002 0x73121002 0x73181002 0x73191002 0x731A1002 0x731B1002 0x731F1002
AMDRadeonX6000_AMDNavi12GraphicsAccelerator :
—> <key>IOPCIMatch</key>
<string>0x73601002</string>
AMDRadeonX6000_AMDNavi14GraphicsAccelerator :

<string>0x73401002 0x73411002 0x73431002 0x73471002 0x734F1002
But we don’t have for now AMDNav21GraphicsAccelerator.
This should explain what @Ellybz reported on the post above
