I just put a (genuine) BCM943602CS with a cheap PCIe adapter and it works oob in both BT and WIFI.
But.. But I have got some problems with Airdrop and Handoff.
First of all I cannot see my daily iPhone XS on Airdrop page inside macOS nor see the this hack on that iPhone XS, but on my older iPhone 7 Airdrop works just fine on both directions. Moreover, after I enable Airdrop on that iPhone 7 I can see the iPhone XS on finder and vice versa.
The only difference between those two iPhones is that my old 7 is settled with US locale while the new XS is settled in Italian.
I read somewhere that some BCM cards have problem with the right region code, but this model isn't mentioned. Anyone uses this card?

Also I found out that if I get a call on my iPhone and answer via this Hackintosh (just like I usually do on my MacBook Pro), AppleALC will crash and system is restarted.
Here is the report:

Hello
i'm trying to install BS
I succeed to boot the USB installer but the first start from the SSD quit and shutdown/restart
any ideas ?
thanks in advance
I think some SSDTs are not needed:
- SSDT-RTC0.aml is the same SSDT-RTC0-RANGE.aml but for different bioses : both may not be necessary for Asrock, but in case, it is enough to try with only one of them.
- SSDT-DTPG.aml : must be removed because now we are using SSDT-SBUS-MCHC.aml : MCHC is the same as DTGP
- SSDT-SLEEP.aml : you should realize the power management without it : SSDT-EC-USBX.aml + custom USB.kext

i had your same problems, but they solved with latest betas. I’m using a Fenvi card, don’t know if it’s the same chip. Are you sure to be on latest OpenCore and kext?

sono italiano anch’io!

I did not know this I threw in a SSDT-DTGP yikes I'll remove it because I have SSDT-SBUS-MCHC.aml but never looked at the file I would have recognized the DTGP code inside and didn't realize it was placed there. However I think we have a problem with our EC part in SSDT-EC-USBX.aml looking into it but we can either rename our ECO device or nullify it with SSDT but something is lacking in the code, because AppleBusPowerController is not loaded under EC but IOResources instead at least in my Ioreg this is incorrect, I should not see both an EX and EX0 in Ioreg this is wrong. I found an app you load your DSDT into and it will create a proper SSDT-EC and have to try it to see if it straightens out this issue. It looks like it nullifies both EC and EC0 not sure why the code is nullifying both? I'll post later on when I get home.

BCM943602CS is a good card and it's what I use as well. Everything works for me, just make sure you have good antennas.

I do have BT Audio dropouts once in a while (Its mostly due to interference in the 2.4Ghz channel) but everything works great, ie wireless magic keyboard 2 seen in BIOS, airdrop, hand off etc.

You should update to the latest 0.6.2 OC and use the new ExtendBTFeatureFlags and set it to True. It may help your issues.

Hello Loloflatsix
I think some SSDTs are not needed:
- SSDT-RTC0.aml is the same SSDT-RTC0-RANGE.aml but for different bioses : both may not be necessary for Asrock, but in case, it is enough to try with only one of them.
I use Dortonia's guide (SSDT-RTC0-RANGE.aml).
SSDT-RTC0.aml is disable in the config.plist ;)
It even work with Catalina  instead of X299-AWAC-REFRESH.aml
I don't know why ....
Thanks I didn't know that
I'll give a try
EDIT
Still the shutdown during the boot!!

@izo1

How are you thanks for that pointer on bluetooth. I noticed more consistencies now that I have the correct SSDT for my BCM94360CD without it I had a lag on connection at boot now its immediate connections not sure if this helped or not.

Would you be willing to share you most current EFI this would be for OC 0.6.2? I have a SAGE II very close to the SAGE and yet some differences in the Ethernet possibly the audio chip as well but it shouldn't be. In your Ioreg do you have both an EC and EC0 and off ECO is AppleACPIEC and noting off EC? Is your AppleBusPowerController off IOResources?

Thanks!

I just updated to OC 0.6.2 and enabled ExtendBTFeatureFlags. Airdrop seems to work now on both my iPhones, so is a step up.
But, facetime gives the same problem..

Have you tried?
For example can you answer from ti hack? In my case, answering will freeze the system and after a couple of seconds it reboots itself.

EDIT:
I cannot set my iWatch 5 to unlock this hack

@pieropontra I cannot read your PM since I have less than 75 active post. I can ask in with slot do you have this card? I'm using the last 16x slot. I noticed that IOReg is very strange.

Facetime works ok with me. Are you using a webcam?

how is your Bluetooth usb connected?

also is your Ethernet set to eth0? And are you using a proper uuid? Does iMessage work and Apple store?
