Another probably stupid question: I run my build with cascade lake 10940x cpu. Should I anyway use TSCAdjustReset.kext? I’m still studying the basys of the OC configuration and I read that this kext was initially written for Skylake X CPUs and so I had the doubt...

Yes, you should continue to use it and change the IOCPUNumber to 27; 14x2-1=27.

I have 2 ongoing problems with my ASUS X299 Sage 10G Catalina 10.15.6 MacPro7,1 hack:

1. Kernel panics/crashes (multiple times daily) which can cause seemingly random reboots anytime
, but seemingly more often when the display is asleep (the computer is not asleep). (Some of the error reports downloaded below). I asked about this in the past, back in June-July 2020 here and is discussed a bit there as well with @JimmyS & @macmaxxx See here: #790 -- most of the reboots/crashes/panics seem to be "userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from com.apple.WindowServer." Any ideas?

2. Problems getting my Thunderbolt devices to be visible & available after a cold boot or a reboot. Thankfully, hot-plugging works
, but hot-plugging seems to be required now after every boot. If I do an unplug-replug, all of the devices become available. This is a pain, especially when combined with problem #1 above, as every time I reboot, I lose my Thunderbolt RAID drives and my audio interface. Any idea on how to fix or workaround? Is there a way to perform the function of an unplug/replug in the software without actually physically unplugging and plugging back in? That might be a reasonable workaround that I can do if I have to restart the drives remotely.

I built an ASUS X299 Sage 10G Catalina 10.15.6 MacPro7,1 System in June using BASE-EFI @djlild7hina's Github page and his personal help with TB3 and USB SSDTs (thanks @djlild7hina and thanks to @Loloflatsix for continuing the effort!), so, there should not be any surprises. This week, I did update the BIOS to version 3203 with the Apple Logo (the version I found from @izo1 on this page - #2,673) without much change. Everything is still working ok without major problems (other than above) and without any improvements since I updated the BIOS. I am including relevant files in case someone has some time to try to help me diagnose my issues. Thanks in advance!

Exported from hackentool? Give me a bit I’ll be home from the hardware shortly.
Just open MaciASL app, it will open your system DSDT and save it as DSDTosxfr33k.aml ( not dsl scroll the arrow down)

Here is an EFI adapted from yours above:
- new SSDT-X299-TB3HP with the same name ( XCH4 section according to USB.kext see below)
- added SSDT-VEGA64
- assed SSDT-X299-XHC (XHC2 / XHC3 section according to USB.kext see below)
- changed SSDT-RTC0 (for new bios)
- new USBASUSX299SAGE.kext ( only match with MacPro 7,1) : with XHC2 / XHC3 / XHC4 section added , XHCI unchanged)
I checked it but it's late here...
Try it with an USB stick and attach your IOREg
