HI,

I'm not sure whats best section for my question.

I'm looking for opinions on my new elitebook hackintosh ssd configuration.

The laptop has a m.2 ssd slot so i will be installing a 500gb m.2 ssd along with a 2.5 500gb ssd in the regular sata slot.

What i wanted advice on is my hackintosh/win configuration from then on.

I know i can run both os's on one ssd, if i do this can i setup the other ssd to be seen as storage (exfat?) for both os's?

Or is it better to just run a single os on each ssd?

Any thoughts appreciated.

HI,

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah i appreciate those points. I suppose i will just go on separate SSDs then.

You can run both on the same SSD (that is what I would do...)
You could try exFAT, but at least in the past, the macOS/OS X implementation of exFAT was quite buggy and prone to corruption.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm inclined to try my hand at doing a clean install to dual boot from one ssd. Installing El capitan first.

which is the best guide to setup and run both win 10 and osx el capitan please on a single ssd.
I am doing a clean install so will install osx first.
