I didn't mean to go Skylake but i7 instead of i5 (question in your second post). Skylake is interesting as a hobby but as long as there is no proper and complete support I would never consider it for anything else.

Oh ok. My apologies. Yes I'm going i7. I've been on the fence about Skylake actually but I don't have the time nor do I want the headaches.

I actually have a pretty decent draft of what I'm going with. Not 100% on the mobo or GPU, and I have yet to choose between air cooled or liquid.
