The MacPro7,1 is still a current product. It may be discontinued at any time, but going from "sold new in March 2023" to "out of software support in fall 2023" would be somewhat harsh…
Two more years of Intel support are more or less baked in at this point. But possibly not more.

Apple did that with one of the Apple Watches.

 
At least we can expected five years Intel support after discontinued MacPro. it is not possible dont support very expensive apple computers. All other options are unlikely . And after five years Appla probably return to intel/Nvidia technology :mrgreen: Note that silicon is falling further and further behind to Intel or new AMD/Nvidia graphics.

I think we'll be lucky to get two more years of Intel support from Apple.
