Hey guys,
my build contains the three parts
If I'm right, the CPU's "natural" clock would be 1600MHz - however it runs with only 1333MHz (see 1st Attachment).
I can enable something like "Extreme Memory Profile X.M.P." in the BIOS Settings which boosts the Clock to 1866MHz, which is the Memory's maximum frequency and would kinda "overclock" the CPU's Memory Controller (see 2nd - 4th Attachment).
Unfortunately Mac OS won't boot with this setting enabled. It just gets stuck during boot without any error or hint what's wring (see 5th Attachment). I just want to have the memory running with 1600MHz. Anything lower than this is a performance issue of at least 2000 points in Geekbench, which means I could have bought a cheaper CPU.
Hopefully, I'm not the only one around here who has a similar issue.
