Would the ASUS STRIX GTX 970 Be Compatible With OS X?

I am wondering if the ASUS STRIX GTX 970 is compatible with OS X Yosemite. I would like to build a Hackintosh and this is the GPU I am currently looking at. Any answer would be appreciated .

It is but with what we call 'Nvidia web drivers'.
Basically a GTX 970 will not provide hardware acceleration until you install the drivers provided by Nvidia as Apple does not bundle such drivers in OS X yet (or ever..we do not know)

Nvidia drivers for GTX 970 require Yosemite (will not work with Mavericks or prior)
