Working on getting audio and I hit something that I'm unsure on.

So I've been following along with the Realtek guide here on this site and I've hit a snag.

IORegistryExplorer lists IOHDACodecVendorID as 0x10ec0230

So from my understanding of the reading that means the codec is 0230

Does that Fall under section 9 300/200/100 Series Intel High Definition Audio on https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/applehda-realtek-audio-guide.234732/#post-1606764

Or do I have some Realtek audio codec that no one has written anything up about yet?

That's part of what I'm unsure on, and I want to be a little more confident of what I'm clicking before I tell it to patch. With Mirone's HDA patcher under laptops I get the attached list of available codecs.

From what I can tell from looking at IORegistryExplorer I have 230 not 233 or 235.

You may be able to find files for ALC230 via google...
