Just to be sure: what video port are you using: DVI, HDMI or D-Sub?
Have you tried the other ports?

Thanks so much, this guide helped a great deal now that 10.8.2 is the only os available - fresh uniML with a Z68MX-UD2H (close) so I used your settings and flags, and got really close. Trying to boot without the stick is not working yet, but MultiBeast is different now with different options... So we'll see!
