Working 100% official Apple BCM94360CD with PCIe adapter from Mallaid/Toabaco

I bought the following two items on ebay. For some reason I don't seem to be able to connect the antenna's with the broadcom card. I assume they just are suppose to click onto the gold circles on the back of the card. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

Yep that's right. I bought the same two components and found that attaching the antenna connectors was quite stiff on a couple of them. I initially tried after seating the card into the PCIE adapter but found that it was much easier to connect the antennae first then seat the card afterwards as there's much less risk of snapping anything.

zookini13- Thanks for the advice!

I was able to attach the antenna's and get the Wireless card working. I had to attach the antenna's before putting the card in the connector.

Hi jbamford,

I was wondering what card you purchased and will all this work using Multibeats?
Will the card work with this setup:
Gigabyte GA-B85M-HD3 -LGA1150
Intel Core i3-4330
Transcend 4GB (1x4GB) DDR 1600 MHz
Samsung EVO 120GB (SSD)
Gigabyte GZ-X1 Black Chasis
Corsair VS650 Series 650W ATX PSU

I ordered both parts on September 22. The BCM94360CD card arrived September 30 and the adapter arrived October 2 (I live in NYC). The quality seems just fine. I don't see anything wrong with it. It looks just like the one in post #1.

Hey TheCreed,

I ordered, received and installed the same setup as you have it working. After installing it WiFi works perfectly, but my bluetooth isn detected, even though the USB cable is plugged into an internal USB header (GA-Z77X-UD5H mb). Any ideas or similar problems you (guys) came across?

The Motherboard's USB header has two sets of pins each; try the other set.

For those who are trying to use PCI-E Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter card in x2, x4, x8, x16 slot:

Many motherboards refuse to work with PCI-E adapters that have both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth powered from PCI-E slot other then x1 port. If installed in x2, x4, x8, x16 ports you will have either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth working but not both at the same time.
There are two different solutions for this problem:

1. PCI-E x1 slot extension cable (when PCI-E x1 slot is blocked or covered by Video Card):

or
2. Adapter designed to work in any slot: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.0.0.M8souu&id=38195333521

This wdxxfu studio card adapter has Apple branded Broadcom BCM94360CD card found in iMac 2013.

Both Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth 4.0/LE work like a charm.

They managed the card to work properly in any slot by providing four wire connection to USB port for Bluetooth Data and Power.
To get correct 3.3V Bluetooth voltage from 5V USB port they have integrated AMS1117 step down voltage converter: http://translate.google.com/transla...015?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item564f130cef
So far wdxxfu studio adapter is the only one that has been reported to work properly on any tested motherboard and in any PCI-E slot.
If you don't speak Chinese and want to buy it, search for TAOBAO purchasing agent.

This is very interesting... I wonder if this was the reason I never could get the Bluetooth on my Azurewave combo card working reliably?
