Working 100% official Apple BCM94360CD with PCIe adapter from Mallaid/Toabaco

I would be interested in finding out if anyone who has this set up has gotten all of the continuity features working. Specifically handoff. Looking to be able to start something on my MacBook Pro or iPad in the field and hand it off to my Hack Pro when I get home. I updated the WiFi/Bluetooth card in my 2011 MacBook Pro, to what appears to be the same one discussed in this thread, and a Kext change later I can hand off from my iPad to my Laptop. So the card works just don't know if it works with a Hackintosh.

I only have two antenna cables on my Asrock Z87e-ITX board, see here:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z87E-ITX/index.us.asp

I also found this on ebay:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/New-Tablet-P...pter-for-BCM94360CD-BCM94331CM-/281473972834?

The Mini PCI-E slot of the board is on the backside so the adapter itself should fit.

But how should I connect the BCM94360CD? There are four cable slots on the card and I only have two antennas.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

I think you could buy a couple of U.FL to RP-SMA pigtail cables from Ebay and drill holes for the RP-SMA connectors into an empty PCI blanking plate, although I guess on a mini ITX system you may not have any of those left available.

I'm also looking forward confirmation of continiuty/handoff working with this networking combo in a hackintosh using recently released Yosemite and ios 8.1. Please let us know if you have try it and how does it work.

This is great! Any issues with the continuity features? Anybody have any adapters that will work with the existing wifi/bt card location? I'm using the GA-87N-Wifi and only have one PCI slot and wanted to put a GFX card in it. Or do I need to decide GFX vs working Wifi/BT?

This card is pretty expensive so I decided I would purchase the parts separately. I bought the BCM94360CD to PCI-E adapter and the BCM94360CD card itself. It comes out to $65 shipped and comes with all of the things that are included with the one you saw above. Im assuming all you have to do is put the card into the adapter and connect the included USB cable to the USB header on your motherboard.

I will update this post when the parts come. (October 4 - 20)

Here are the links I used to buy the two parts.

This adapter http://www.ebay.com/itm/231343606630 is even cheaper, but I wonder how antennas would work. Maybe better to get one with the external antennas included.

My machine is wifi-less and bluetooth-less but maybe I want to change that due to Yosemite Continuity.

Alright guys, this looks quite promising for enabling Continuity/Handoff natively with the new version of OS X (w/ iOS 8 of course). I ordered these two parts:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/191029765954 -- Apple Broadcom BCM94360CD WLAN/BT card
http://www.ebay.com/itm/261607983834 -- PCI-E Adapter with 4 antennas, a screw driver, and 4 screws

I'll update with details once I receive and test these items! Have fun everyone.

Just ordered these items myself, thank you for providing the links

Will let everyone know how it goes, should be straight forward.

Cheers,
Craig

Just following up to add that the combination of the BCM94360CD and the quad-antenna adapter card has given me working WiFi and Bluetooth in Yosemite with fully-functional Continuity, HandOff and AirDrop. The WiFi/BT adapter was detected and worked straight off with no additional work required. Just need to find a nice triple connector RP-SMA antenna like the one that comes with the Asus Wireless AC cards as the back of the PC is too crowded with cables for the antennae to sit neatly. Thanks to all for posting about this - it's a really nice, effortless and (relatively) cheap upgrade.
