Hi,

So i was looking at building a new hackintosh, i selected some parts from tonymacx ivy bridge systems.

The whole point of this thread is for people to get a rough idea of how to get the new gigabyte boards up and running.

This is my hardware.

motherboard -GA-h77-d3h-mvp
cpu - i5-3570k 3.40 Ghz Unlocked
memory - g.skill 16g ddr3 1600
hard drive - standard

plan on using GFX - radeon 9800.

so what i have done so far.

-updated Uefi bios from f3 to f6
-built a bootable usb using unibeast ML.
-couldnt find the right bios config so i just did basic setup setting hard drive to AHCI.
-was able into install the os fine graphics were at lowest setting as i was using onboard.
-once OS was installed things that were not working - audio - graphics lowest setting.
-Using mutibeast, i havnt bothered installing any dstd because supposedly you dont need one.
the only driver i installed was the chimera boot loader and restarted. the os would not boot in verbose mode im getting macs_swappon SUCCESS and it just stays there.

SO lets try get some kind of work through for me and others out there!

Thanks guys

you might want to try 10.8.1 first
10.8.2 is problematic according to some posts
