Would this work under hackintosh? Is in a notebook i could buy from my brother.

Seems that it is based on an atheros chip?

Since notebook compatibility seems not so good and there are not many good notebooks out without intel wirless chip a recommondation: My brother bought his notebook at www.one.de where he could configure this atheros network card and nearly almost everything about the notebook... If this card works its maybe an option for other ppl too.

Oh that are bad news...

The case of the notebook is most likely MS 1762-Barebone from MSI its also used in the MSI GT60. Maybe someone knows if it is possible to exchange the wlan card. And if so, what card would be compatible with the mainboard/case (regarding space) and with Mountain Lion?
