Windows 8 Release Preview on an iPad

Hey people,

i have just discovered this great App after watching Chris Pirillo's YouTube channel

it's the Win8 Metro Testbed - Powered by Splashtop which is optimised to allow you to use Windows 8 Release Preview (installed on your PC) from your iPad, giving you the full Metro/Windows 8 experience on your iPad tablet PC.

i haven't tried it myself because i have no spare HDD's to install Windows 8 Release Preview but for those already running the Windows 8 Release Preview then this iPad app is surely the best way to try Windows 8 that i can think of.

the app costs £17.49 £6.99($24.99 $9.99 on US App Store) and runs on iOS 3.2 or later

An Free alternative to this is to download the free LogMeIn app from the App Store and try that method (if supported) instead

Why - Because Windows 8 is the first Microsoft OS to support a tablet PC

Windows 8 Release Preview is Free but most laptops and desktop PC don't have Touch Screens

The Win8 Metro Testbed App allows you to use Windows 8 as it was intended - on a Tablet PC

Admittedly, the App is a bit pricey for what amounts to be a testing App but Splashtop have dropped the price now to $9.99

Personally, i'm quite excited by MS's entry into the Tablet PC market and i think their Surface will do well
