Hi,

I am a complete beginner looking to build my first Hackintosh and wanted your advice on whether these components will work with OS Mojave.

Intel Core i7 6700K
Gigabyte H370 HD3
, ATX
Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) 2400MHz DDR4 PC4-19200 CL17 SR x8 Unbuffered DIMM 288pin
Samsung 860 EVO Basic (500GB, 2.5")
Seagate Barracuda (1TB, 3.5", Desktop)
Corsair VS550 2018 (550W)
Corsair Carbide 300R
TP-LINK ARCHER T9E
(PCI-E x1, 1300Mbit/s, 600Mbit/s)
Corsair H60 (2018) (5.20cm)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4G

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

An i7-6700K will not work in an H370 motherboard. Would require an 8th or 9th gen CPU. The i7-8700K for instance.
It is preferable to use a Z370 board for better compatibility anyway. H370s are more difficult to hackintosh right now.
The 1050 Ti will not work in Mojave so change that to an RX560 or RX570 instead. Make changes and post the new parts list.

Thank you so much for your help!

So would something like a Gigabyte Z370P D3 do for the Motherboard and MSI RX 570 ARMOR for the GPU?

So my setup would look like this.

Intel Core i7 6700K
Gigabyte Z370P D3
(LGA 1151, Intel Z370, ATX)
Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) 2400MHz DDR4 PC4-19200 CL17 SR x8 Unbuffered DIMM 288pin
Samsung 860 EVO Basic (500GB, 2.5")
Seagate Barracuda (1TB, 3.5", Desktop)
Corsair VS550 2018 (550W)
Corsair Carbide 300R
TP-LINK ARCHER T9E
(PCI-E x1, 1300Mbit/s, 600Mbit/s)
Corsair H60 (2018) (5.20cm)
MSI RX 570 ARMOR 8GB

I also would like to use a 4k monitor at 60Hz if possible and also bluetooth connectivity. Is there an easy way of installing a BT network adapter that works with apple?

Thanks again!

The 6700K is not compatible with Z370. i7-8700K would be.
Use DP out on the 570 to get 4K @60Hz

For BT and Wifi get a combo card like the Fenvi FV-T919

Amazing, thanks a lot!
So now my setup looks like this.

Intel Core i7 8700K
Gigabyte Z370P D3
(LGA 1151, Intel Z370, ATX)
Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) 2400MHz DDR4 PC4-19200 CL17 SR x8 Unbuffered DIMM 288pin
Samsung 860 EVO Basic (500GB, 2.5")
Seagate Barracuda (1TB, 3.5", Desktop)
Corsair VS550 2018 (550W)
Corsair Carbide 300R
Corsair H60
(2018) (5.20cm)
MSI RX 570 ARMOR 8GB
Fenvi FV-T919

Will 550W be enough to power the system?

Will the MSI RX 570 ARMOR GPU still work even if it's not on the Buyers Guide?

Would it be safer to get one that is recommended on there?

Are all the items on the Buyers guide compatible with Mojave?

If this all fails and I give up (I hope it won't come to this) would I still be able to install windows on my hardware and run as normal?

MSI RX 570 will work. We can't fit every possible working piece of hardware in the BG. It would be HUGE and it's too large already. If all this fails, which it probably won't, you can install Windows just like nothing happened.

Is there any alternative in getting bluetooth functionality without the Fenvi adapter? Would I be able to use a IOGear bluetooth adapter for BT and the TP-LINK ARCHER T9E for Wifi?

Are all my parts Mojave compatible or should I install an earlier version of macOS?

Everything is compatible with Mojave. The BT dongles work, they just have poor range. If you can keep it within 3 feet of your keyboard and mouse it's not a big deal. Just don't expect things like BT headphones to work well.
