I'd like to get back into gaming, and this was given some good reviews. I would also like to use it for video/music editing, but it isn't a high priority as I still have an older MBP that can do this job.

Are you planing a video card for this or only the HD4000

I would totally get the parts list on both newegg and Amazon if your able and see what the costs are with you putting it together yourself.
I bet it would be cheaper as I had a build list with some heavy gaming hardware and it was only $1300. that was with an X79 and 670 GPU.
So you might be able to save some money doing it yourself .
