A follow up: if I try and set my eyes on mimicking the hardware components of some Mac, say 2012-2014, will that help by a lot to have it up and running more easily?Si, yes
Great! The very best deal on Ebay.com right now is this i7-3770 version. Good deal at $129. Just add an SSD to boot from.

I don't know if the GT 120 works with HS as I've never owned one. You can also upgrade that if it doesn't work. The GT 710 DDR3 version works well with HS.
IDK, I've never used one. Why not buy the E8400 ? You can be certain it will work.Hi again! I’ve found a E6850 and it seems quite similar to the E8400. Will it work?

They should be available most anywhere in the world.
NOTE: The E8400 will not work with the HP 8200, only your older Socket 775 board.
What is the cost in equivalent dollars ? I know that the E6850 is one year older than the E8400. I don't think Apple ever used an E6850 in any Mac. You could research it on www.Everymac.com.I’ve found it very cheap and it’s not as easy to get a hold of these in Sweden on the used market
