I'm ung istat menues to monitor my temperature. If you are monitoring yours in windows then how do you know that it's the same temprature with OS X?

I'm running at roughly the same usage, and iStat and temp monitor screw up on hackintoshes. (it says my 550ti is running at 511.99 degrees celcius (953 degrees f) at idle).

Do you mean it's 153°F at idol?
I think it's because the card is not going into a lower power state because of the AGPM.

The point is, the temps are totally messed up. That temp could melt iron.
