Both Mojave and Catalina crash and reboot about two seconds after Quartz start up. It only boots up properly with all graphics acceleration turned off.
The one way to know for sure what it is, remove the GPU heatsink and thermal paste and see what it says. If it's GK107 then it is a Kepler card. The numbers after GK107 may be different than this pic shows.

I've not bought and tested one as my RX 570 still does what I need it to. From what others have stated, the drivers from Apple are not perfected yet so expect some minor annoyances with this card.

Hi guys, I consider myself lucky and managed to get my hands on Nvidia 3060TI. I was thorn and pretty decided to move onto Windows, however I just like MAC OS too much :) (Currently on Big Sur). Anyway, my question actually is, if I were to keep the 3060TI, is there a way to keep it inside my PC and use it when on Windows and I don't really use it for anything on MAC so I could just boot with Intel's iGPU. I tried two HDMI cables and disabling PCIe in BIOS to see if that would work, but it's funny on windows and it didn't let me boot to MAC OS (although I'd probably need to change something in plist as well, and now it's set up and dGPU.
Has anyone tried that before, or is currently using a set up like that?

You need to disable the discrete GPU in macOS, either with an SSDT-DDGPU.aml or this boot argument
-wegnoegpu.

The Boot Argument should work with WhateverGreen.kext to disable the Nvidia card in macOS.

You need to set your Intel GPU to work with a display connected, under DeviceProperties in OC or Clover config.plist. The normal setup when a discrete GPU is present is to have the IGPU set to run headless, i.e. with no display connected. As you are using an incompatible dGPU you need to set the Intel GPU as the main GPU for macOS.

AAPL,ig-platform-id > 07009B3E is used when the Desktop iGPU is used to drive a display

You may need to change the SMBIOS to match this setup, as it may cause issues if you use a SMBIOS that expects a discrete GPU to be present. Possibly use the Mac mini 8.1 SMBIOS.

You will need both GPU's enabled in your bios.

When booting the system you need to have a cable connected to one of the IGPU's display connections for macOS and another cable connected to a port on the Nvidia card for the Windows OS. You will then need to switch between the two outputs on the display/monitor when you are booting macOS and Windows respectively.

I upgraded to Catalina from HS my GTX 1050 TI only displays one monitor .... any way to get two monitors up seems like I'm going to have to get a Radeon since i run Windows and MAC on the same Rig. I could live if I could get both displays working
your nvidia is not supported on Catalina

Yeah I went through the list then hit the NVidia site and saw they didn't give a dam about updating the drives and bit the bullet and I found a pretty decent Radeon 580 so that should take care of it ....... I will definately drop back in and let everyone know how the swap went

I just bought one, that wont boot in either windows 10 or macos.
In both macos and windows i get to the bootscreen, but then shortly after black screen.
Tried windows from clover and directly to windows bootloader. The quadro 400 doesn't support UEFI, but the 410 should support UEFI from what i can read. Have you heard of anyone actually having success with the 410?
