Will it work on Yosemite?

I've heard the rumours there will be problems with the kexts. Is that true?

What kexts? FakeSMC and my Realtek8111 kext (version 1.2.3) work fine on Yosemite.

read something about unsigned kexts and a special boot mechanism that makes it harder to get a real "native" macintosh feeling. i may (and hopefully) be wrong.

Mavericks did the same thing. The final version of Yosemite shouldn't need kext-dev-mode=1 which is what is used to get the system to load unsigned kexts.

We'll see for sure though.
