Hi,
I have a two year old Hackintosh (2014 Customac Pro build).
i7 4770k
2 x 8gb kingston hyperx Bly ram 1600mhz
gigabyte GA-X87-OC motherboard
zotac nvidia geforce gtx760
corsair h100i cooling system
2x 1tb sea gate barracuda
128gb Samsung 840 pro ssd
240gb kingston ssd
cooler master Stryker cabinet
tp-link wdn4800 wifi card
corsair rm750 fully modular power supply
Currently, i am running OS X Mavericks on it and even though it's working alright (with just a few freezes every now and then)- recently i tried to upgrade my Final Cut Pro X and it said that version was only compatible with a later OS. Now i haven't updated the OS on my hack since the first ever installation ( nearly 2 years ago) because i am not a pro with computers and didn't want to potentially **** up a decently working rig but now it is sort of a necessity.
Could someone be so generous and help me out with which OS would be the most stable for this build (Yosemite or El Capitan) and still give me good efficient functioning and speeds (since i use this machine for Post Production on my Projects, i am always running very heavy multimedia softwares like FCP X, AFTER EFFECTS, PHOTOSHOP/LIGHTROOM, LOGIC PRO, ETC.
Please Help, i am in dire urgent need ! Thanks A TON in advance.
