Hi,
I recently made two hacks with a very same specs. I am looking into having Magic Keyboard and mouse on them and would prefer to connect with WiFi even though the Ethernet works out of the box and is very fast and reliable. (just so my setup is cleaner as I'm planing to make 2 more and put them all in one room and internet or network speed is not a thing for me)
anyways, I'm not really looking into having handoff, continuity, or airdrop (don't really care as they're office machines, but it's ok to have the futures, too) please give me suggestions for any BT/Wifi combo PCI/USB or anything that I can have magic mouse and keyboard and connect to internet with and please keep in mind that I need it to be very cheap as the number of machines will get higher. Is using Apple's cards recommend for El Capitan? Can I just buy them and add adapters to pci? I'm really a big fan of out of the box things though. my price range is about 10-40$
is this recommended: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Broadcom-BC...365523?hash=item3cfe974a13:g:pBkAAOSwcwhVOLcN
for future references when the item is sold out or removed, it's "Broadcom BCM94331CD 802.11a/b/g WiFi card + Bluetooth 4.0 for Apple A1418 A1419"
I know in this case it's helpless to give specs but whatever:
Intel i3-4170 processor
msi H81M-P33 motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD
Thermaltake TR2 430W Power Supply
This build is very recommended and everything works out of the box (almost) the integrated graphics and sound will work really easy and only with multibeast. This build is very affordable and yet VERY powerful for the price. definitely recommend the mobo as it costed me only 48$ brand new off retail store.
