Hey guys, I searched around this forum but couldn't find information about any PCIe Wi-Fi 6/Bluetooth card that is natively supported and that I can buy.
I'm planning on buying a Wi-Fi 6 router but if there is no card for my rig that will take advantage of it I won't buy it.

I am unaware of any Wi-Fi 6 cards that are natively supported by macOS.

The new Apple M1 Laptops list Wi-Fi 6 support.

Does anyone know what Wi-Fi module they're using (Broadcom, Intel, etc...)?

Hi there.

The answer is not straight-forward but ...

The device is listed as AirPort. There is no DeviceID or VendorID. I suspect it is a part of the SOC.

Only the Ethernet interface is more easily identifiable - Broadcom.

:)

I believe Apple is now using their own Wi-Fi chips. Previously, they were using Universal Scientific Industrial Wi-Fi chips. I have never seen neither used in anything else besides Apple products.
