Hi you all!

Installing Snow Leopard (retail DVD and iBoot CD) when I select the "MAC OS X Install DVD", it shows a white screen with the Apple's logo. It starts loading and then stop, and so remains. WHat to do?

I have a Dell Studio 1535

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Excuse me sir, my specs:

My specs:

Dell Studio 1535 (Clover)
RAM: 3 GB
GPU: Mobile Intel GMA X3100
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 @2GHz, 2cpu's / 0H279K
Windows 8.1

This laptop is shared with my family. The one that I describe in my profile is my personal (desktop), but I'm waiting for a new GPU (actually not compatible).

Please read carefully "in your profile/signature"...

What is in your config.plist? Some confusion here as you previously said you were using iBoot, but now you say you're using Clover??

Ok. Signature modified.

I'm using Clover for Mountain Lion and Mavericks but It seems the OSX Mavericks is not compatible with my Laptop.

And, yes, I'm using iBoot for Snow leopard (both in CD/DVD respectly).

The config.plist files does not exist.

Thanks!

Ok. Signature modified.

I don't see a signature and the computer in your profile is not supported (HD2000 is not supported).

But you seem to state completely different hardware specs in post #4.

Clover can work for Snow Leopard too, but it has nothing to do with iBoot.

If this is regarding the hardware in post #4 (and not the hardware in your profile), you should try iBoot legacy.

To avoid misunderstandings...

In one of my newest posts I asked if my Lenovo H520s is compatible with any OSX. Some people told me "no, you CPU is fully compatible (Sandy Bridge) but your Intel HD2000 no", and they attached the wiki. Ok, I understand. This post is about my Laptop, which I have described.

And, referring to the signature, I'm trying to change it.

So, I'll try to boot with iBoot Legacy.

Thank you, sir.

Ok, I had burned iBoot Legacy in a CD.

My Laptop starts, with the CD. I eject the CD and I insert the DVD (Snow Leopard). Appears the white screen with the Apple's logo, and the circle (that indicates is loading) but nothing, then appears a black screen and the laptop restarts.

Please, I ask to you all, the experts.

Thanks!
