Which system definition?

I've looked at some guides but I'm entirely unsure???

I have a Z170-HD3 DDR3 with a i3-6100, which sys definition is advised?
I seem to think 17,1 for better power management but 14,2 apparently is more flexible/less problematic...

Any guidance and I'd be most grateful.

Since it's a Skylake system, I would go with 17,1. I have had very little problems with my build using that sys def.
