Greetings,

Earlier this year I tried to hackintosh my current pc.
Everything was working fine except for the sleep/wake function. I couldn't resolve the issue which was mainly the problem of my pc having an unsupported Asus mobo (B85ME).

I want to upgrade my pc in a few weeks/months from now.
I currently have a core i5 4670k cpu, a GTX 780, 12gigs of ram, a 120gb SSD for my OS, a 1TB HDD for data and a 600w PSU.

I really want to run OSX (and maybe even Windows next to it as dual-boot) as my main OS, so I am looking for a motherboard that just mostly works out of the box with OSX.
No problems or issues with sleep/wake, audio or ethernet.

Does anybody know some good hackintosh-haswell compatible mobo's that will ALSO be compatible with Yosemite?

Thanks

As of right now, I would recommend the Z87 boards from Gigabyte. UD3H/4H/5H are decent.

But, Z97 are likely to be supported in the coming months (The event on 16th might also give us insight), and have extra bells and whistles you may want (M.2, SATA Express, Broadwell CPU support). They are also much easier to get.

Both Gigabyte and Asus Z97 seem to work well. See the Buyers Guide for models.

Hope that helps
