Which 660ti...

Howdy, all. Going to make a I7/Z77DS3H build. Wanted to put a 660ti in it. Actually, wanted to put a 660 I'd already bought, but a relative needed/took it...
the egg has a few 660ti's all within 20 bucks of each other...any comments on which to pick? Linkified for your convenience. Thanks for any suggestions.
Going to do a 10.8.2 unibeast/multibeast install.

Hi drmyk. I would have sent a PM, but I don't have enough posts accrued to do that yet.

I'm the one who started the other Graphics card thread on 660Ti's. Just curious on your thoughts now as to which card your leaning toward and if you've gathered any more info on them. I have an experienced builder friend who always gets EVGA because he always has (not sure if that's a great reason), and it seems they're a very respected brand. But as I said in my thread I'm leaning toward one of the Gigabytes.

BTW, I'm building an i7/Z77X-UD5H, 16GB RAM, 240 SSD, 1TB HD, DVD, and hopefully Firewire (if it works).

I've had good luck with Galaxy cards in the past, and EVGA. But I really like the Zotac card being smaller-easier to manage airflow.

I couldn't see any significant differences between them other than that, to be honest. Just wanted to double check and make sure no one said 'oh, don't get the gigabyte card, it will make hair grow out your ears and cause immediate kp's.

I'm in the process of upselling myself to a 670. I bought one of the Korean 2560x1440 monitors and I'm thinking the higher bandwidth for the 670 might be worth it.

Definitely...670's are much better than 660ti's. If you are looking for average performance from a 670, go with a reference design from EVGA. If you want the best combination of performance, cooling, and acoustics, go with the Gigabyte Windforce III GTX 670. I myself have researched for the "best" GTX 670 a lot.
