UEFI. I built the machine in 2014. The motherboard had not been out very long at that point.
Regarding the ncpi command, I was told to try it. I have no idea what it is supposed to do...
That's fine.
As for "npci", temporarily test without. At the Clover menu move the cursor down to the second row and "Options". The top line is the boot arguments. Press Enter to edit it, remove the command, then press Enter again to accept. Next scroll down to "Return" and then boot your drive.
As this isn't permanent, if it does nothing useful then just reboot again as normal.
