Where is the Broadcom PID and VID stored?

I'm convinced that there should be an alternative to using Intel WiFi hardware without a specifically designed kext. of course, I do not expect full functionality but if macOS could detect the WiFi hardware, I could work my way up from there.

Can anyone tell me which kext file stores the PID and VID for the WiFi hardware used by real macs?
