I've been using this Hack (named Big Hack) for about 7-8 years now with a few OS's which is now at Mojave. Just recently I decided to get ready for a move of the CPU to a room without an ethernet port. When I checked the menu bar I found no WiFi symbol, Checking the network preferences I only see Ethernet (en0 & en1) and Firewire and WiFi does not show as a selectable item under interfaces. My WiFi System Info shows the following

Any help will be appreciated...

Hey guys, How about some help! I am a supporter. As added info, the machine I've referenced does not have built-in WiFi and I've tried a TP-Link N900 PCI Express Adapter as well as a NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band WiFi USB 3.0 Adapter. Neither are recognized. Again, there doesn't seem to be any WiFi drivers installed in the system.

Disappointed that I didn't get a reply, but kept on looking and found the answer in "[Solved] My Wifi TL-WDN4800 N900 not working after install Mojave". Used the "Kext Utility" to install IO80211Family.kext and after reboot all is now well.

Yes using the search feature can lead to some results
Also as your first post was not mentioning anything about which Wifi hardware you had, it was difficult to help you.
