Where could one acquire the front panel of a Mac Pro (cheese grater)?

    You can ask the Laser Hive. The owner operator is great to work with.

    I have never found perforated metal with the Apple spec hole size and off-sets. I did however keep looking and one time purchased 5 Power Macs at $ 40 USD each and used parts from them for a number of projects.

    And for small areas, you can use a scrap piece of Apple mesh as a pattern and drill your own holes into good quality aluminum plate. The aluminum needs to be hard enough to drill cleanly.
