What's the easiest way to enable USB 3.0 on Z77X-UD5H

I know this topic has been beaten to death.. But I'm looking for an up to date solution for enabling USB 3.0 on my computer.
On many of the older threads people are saying to use certain kexts, or change a couple settings in the BIOS, but I'm wondering if these are still the best solutions.
Also, do you still lose the sleep function after enabling 3.0?

My MB is the GA-Z77X-UD5H

I know most of you will be too annoyed by the redundancy of this post to give me some help, but if someone could give me the answer I'd greatly appreciate it

That mobo uses Intel USB3 which is supported natively OOB by OSX and not effected by the sleep issues that 3rd part USB3 controllers have.

I think you're right to ask for an up date, it is one of the issues that advice goes stale.

My understanding is that besides the Intel chip there are two USB 3.0 hubs that have problems. I'm also unsure whether the board upgrade to 1.1 changes things or not. It did for audio.

Perhaps for these recurring questions there ought to be a section of the forum with the 'Last Word' i.e. the latest advice and a history for other that might have earlier board revisions?

I really don't know much about those VIA hubs as I have never used a mobo that had them. I heard some people have issues others don't.
