Conspicuously Absent in 10.9

Apple's also put up a bunch of great info about Mavericks here:
http://www.apple.com/osx/whats-new/features.html

If you have anything to add, let me know!

I wouldn't exactly call this a feature, but this has happened both on one of my machines and on a friend's machine: in Mavericks, a glitch in the way "Online Accounts" is handled can cause certain installations to run kernel_task at up to 50+ GB of RAM and 100% CPU usage. Several people on Apple Forums have also experienced this problem. A reinstall from Recovery does NOT fix this, you must wipe and do a full reinstall. Just a heads up if anyone is experiencing this "Feature."

confirmed OpenCL support native on GTX 460, but I have bad performance.
Luxmark score: 637 in 10.8.4 (multibeast openCL patch)
Luxmark score: 383 in 10.9 (native openCL)

????

so it would be better to install ML on a new build versus Mavericks (if using R9 280X)? And also forget about mobo's w/ TB2 as well?

Sounds like X79 + R9 280X w/ ML would be the best choice for a video editing rig using FCPX.

How the f*ck is it possible that people are still using cinebench? It has been completely useless for YEARS. Does not use any acceleration on recent video cards. Stop using it.
