NetGear D6300, works well. Initially had a problem with it for a couple of weeks, not being able to access the setup functions through the browser. I had to reset it and set it up from scratch every time. At the end the technical support team at Netgear advised me to take it back to the retailer, who gave me a new one. Since then it's all good. Support was excellent and FAST.

Fritzbox 7390 (provided by my FTTH ISP), it's a great router but I am thinking of getting a 7490 to upgrade from dualband wifi N to wifi AC (the price tag is quite high though)...

I use a Dlink DSR-500. Have used it for a couple of years and very reliable.

Functions as VPN server, all gigabit ports, metal case, internal power supply. Overkill for home router, but I want to be sure that my router has plenty of flexibility and easily handles future available bandwidth as ISP upgrades services.
