What Monitor or Display Do You Use?

I thought I would just update what I have since I bought a few new monitors.

I still have the following displays:

Samsung 28" U28D590D 4K 3840x2160 60Hz TN display

Auria 27" 2560x1440 IPS display (2x)

Asus 27" 1920x1080 TN display (3x)

Seiki 39" SE39UY04 4K 3840x2160

However, I have also just recently purchased:

Acer 28" B286HK 4K 3840x2160 60Hz TN display for $349.99 shipped from Newegg (Black Friday deal)

LG 55" 55UB8500 4K UHD 3840x2160 60Hz HDMI 2.0 IPS 3D Smart TV (WebOS, HEVC decoder, quad core processor) from Microcenter for ~$1200 (Black Friday Deal)

Initially I had purchased a Samsung UN55HU6840 55" 4K 60Hz IPS Smart TV from Microcenter for ~$899.99 but as much as I liked it I was a bit unsatisfied with it. I was going to exchange it for another unit thinking perhaps I had a defective model but opted to upgrade to the LG instead. The LG was marked down from~$1500 so i figured I would take advantage of the lower price.

Now I would like to get a GTX 970 to see if I can get 60Hz via HDMI 2.0 but maybe that can wait until some time later in 2015. By that time maybe a GTX 960 will enter the market,...

I'll provide a picture at some point,... ;)

Its graphics card failed 9 months ago, replaced it with my Hackintosh. Still boots up fine after deleting graphics kexts and works well in target display mode.

I use a Samsung U28D590D 28in 4K Monitor.
While it is technically "UHD" it is 16:9 so instead of running at
4096 x 2160 it runs natively at 3840x2160 but can indeed run at 4096x2034.
The best thing about it is over DisplayPort it works as a "Retina" display (I scale to 2560x1440). Extra features include Picture in picture, 1 DP port & 2 HDMI ports, Audio out (I tend to use the my Creative Audigy though), a game mode and just overall a pretty comprehensive in display menu.

Hello,

I use an asus pb278q 4k Display in combination with my Nvidia GTX 770 4 GB Phantom.

First, I owned a Macbook Pro Retina, but I "converted" it to a 4k Hackintosh.

I use the following:
Samsung U28D590D 28in 4K Monitor. (running at full 4k, no hi-DPI mode (you can imagine I sit pretty close to it))
Crossover 27Q 1440P IPS Panel (supposedly the same LG panel used in the 2011 iMac);
Apple 23" Cinema display (using a hacked PSU since the OEM tragically died and would have cost more than the monitor was worth to replace).
Dell 19" 5:4 1280X1024 TN panel

All of this running on my Gigabyte GTX 970. Yes I purchased this card for the ports, it's the new gold standard for ports (Pick 4 : 3XDP, 1 HDMI 2.0, 2X dual link DVI) .

I've used this since, well, since it came out in 2006. Holy crap that's a long time! I remember that I was looking for a good display to go with my Mac Pro at the time. This display had the best reviews and I managed to get it really cheap, around 400€. It was still a bit expensive for my budget, but it turned out to be one of the best purchases of my life. No wonder it got such great reviews. I've never had any issues with it and I've used it pretty much 18 hours every day since the purchase. The connections are good, the pivoting stand is great, screen is great, doesn't even even run hot. The resolution is only 1920 x 1200, but it's enough for me. I don't have TV. Don't need one, because I can watch my movies and series on this screen. Great for gaming too, and I've actually used it with my Wii.

Best display I've ever had.
