Hello! My first post, haha. I am a art guy and thus would like a new monitor as
my current one is old and glitchy and has overall bad picture..
Basically I kinda wanted to ask if there's a recommended kind of monitor???
I have a Cinema Display monitor that came with my old Power Mac G4, and I like the picture on it,
but the cable isn't DVI, its some thing called "ADC"(?) which is, obviously, not compatible with my
NVIDIA 8800 GT... I tried taking the graphics card out of the old mac and putting it in my PC but,
as expected, it did not fit.. So if there's an existent adapter that's not like $200 (one on amazon was that much) that'd be nice so I don't have to go out buying a new monitor.
But what would be a good monitor, preferable a stylish mac-looking one, as I'm trying to get my little workspace more tidied up now that I got yosemite running just fine..
Also non-glare would also be appreciated, but not necessary as shiny ones also do tend to be more crisp in my experience (idk i could be wrong)..
Also if it means anything my current set of monitors is a AVI ViewSonic Monitor (connected through DVI-AVI adapter) and a Sony Bravia 27-inch screen that's wall-mounted. I can't use the tv screen though as in order to see it I have to look up, and constantly doing that is a bit awkward... So I've been forced to use this old monitor as the main one, hah.
Thanks in advance!
also if anyone knows any good animation programs that work fine on hackintosh lemme know, unless it doens't really matter..
