No, but you can just disable it, and use the hd 3000 which is present in all models.

do you thing will be possible in near (or far) future to make it work?
Just need to make a decision if buy one with i5 2450M, Radeon 1GB / USB 3.0 just don't know if make sense to spend the extra $$$ or just buy a low end, I don't need it for Windows just a replacement for my Black C2D MacBook and may HackDesktop

I just visited the official HP Download Area for 4530s :

As you can see, they just release a new BIOS Update (F.25).
Probably, the machines being built now (I'll buy mine next month!) will have this BIOS.

So, the questions are:
- Which HP Notebook System BIOS version should be used to make Lion work ? Is it needed to downgrade to older versions ? How ?
- What are the HP System BIOS Update and HP Notebook System BIOS ? Are they the same BIOS (just older versions) or the eprom is different ?

My 4530s is currently running F.25 with no problems using the F.22 DSDT. I haven't used it a ton this way, but it seems ok. I was going to use the other version, but couldn't DL the one that matched the installer. Oh well, seems good so far..

Hello guys got my new 4530 yesterday and installed lion 10.7.3 everything went perfect It came with bios Ver.F.OA is there anything to gain by updating bios?
