I followed the iDiots guide to iMessage and iMessage was working perfectly, but after rebooting, it doesn't work anymore.

I am able to RECEIVE iMessages, but if I try to send one it does not deliver and I can only send text messages.

Here is a picture:

So in short, I can receive iMessages and text messages, but I can only send text messages.

Specs: Inspiron 3647, Intel i3-4130, GT 1030, 16 GB RAM, 128 GB Kingston SSD

whats the point of this forum if no one even helps...

Merry Christmas...
Anyway, this is a common problem. You MUST read the iMessage thread on these forums to get your answer. LOTS of info for fixing the multitude on iMessage issues. Go there. This issue is covered. If you think you've fixed it but the "fix" didn't survive a reboot then have you really fixed it?

I already read that and tried using the fixes. Nvram is working on my build.
Can you link me to another solution?

Log out of iMessages on your phone, wait 10 minutes then log back in.

I did that, it didn't work.

Also I can send iMessages to some people and other people, I can only send texts even though they have an iPhone.

Did you?:

Delete all the files mentioned?
Are you using en0?
Is it "Built In?"
Did you edit the config.plist with a text editor? A no-no
Did you set the BooterConfig value? Or CsrActiveConfig?
Did you use the S/N generator? Did you click generate SEVERAL times? Don't use the first number that comes up.
Did you bother to verify that said S/N?? Some get confused by that process. That goal is to get a VALID s/n but not an ACTIVE s/n.
Are your UUID's correct?
Did you use an existing number from an old Mac? A no-no
Is your board ID valid for your system definition?
ya-da ya-da...

This is just the starting list.

Go and RE-READ both iMessage master stickies. You WILL get the answer there, but it won't be an easy thing.
