Hello,

After weeks struggling with video problems, now I have audio issues...

After installation, no sound at all. Installed ApleHDA modified to ALC887 and now I have this bevahiour.

The output changes from Internal Speakers to Headphones randomly.

I've put a online video to show the problem.

I believe this problem is also compromising computer performance...

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I can confirm there are issues with the ALC887 10.8.5 driver. When I updated to 10.8.5 I lost audio. When Multibeast 5.5.1 came out I updated the audio driver and regained audio. However after several minutes of audio it begins to get garbled beyond understanding. I have two hacks both on Gigabyte Q77M-D2H motherboards and it is happening on both.

Just an update. I don't believe my problems are were driver related. It appears that it is an issue related to streaming audio in Google Chrome. My problems disappear when I use Safari or when the audio is played from the hard drive.

Thanks for sharing...

My issue, I beleive, is more dramatic.

Is there a way to completely remove the sound and reinstall?

Just to inform that I manage to make audio work.

I have deleted AppleHDA and HDAEnabler. Rebooted and installed ACL887 through MultiBeast.

Installed HDAEnabler1 and reboots.

Sound Works! @:D

Now I'm gaining courage to make the HDMI audio work!!!
