So I've been trying to use a mobile app that allows me to turn my iPhone 4S into a webcam for my Mac. It wasn't woking so I sent an email to the company, SHAPE:
"I can connect my iPhone 4S (6.1.3) to the Mobiola desktop software on my Mac (10.8.3) without a problem. But when I try to connect it with Skype (6.4), I can select the Mobiola Video Source tag, but I cannot view any video being processed or sent to Skype from the Mobiola software (black screen in video source window). All software (OS, iOS 6, Skype, and Mobiola applications) are up to date."

Their response:
"Apparently, this issue is with Skype application itself as in
some cases it is not functional with native iSight Mac camera:
http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=793479. We would suggest you to downgrade to 2.8 version of Skype for Mac: http://mac.oldapps.com/skype.php"

I decided to go through the older versions, but 2.8 is not supported by Mountain Lion. Can anybody give me a suggestion or lead to try and follow? I'm hoping that this isn't a Skype problem, and if it is, it needs to be fixed! (I've also tried EpocCam, and still no response from Skype).
