Webcam on hackintosh??

Ran into this exist issue. I can detect the camera. The Microphone works. But, no "camera" is detected in any of the apps. Did you ever resolve this issue ?

Also running into this issue with the C920... has anyone gotten this to work?

I have just bought a Besteker webcam (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073J4TCWN/?tag=tonymacx86-21)

I was hoping to plug it straight in and get it working, but alas no joy! I have tried "macam" and "Photo Booth".

In System Pref. it is recognised within "Sound", but I suppose that it's just identifying the microphone.
I need it to work as a webcam.

Should I be loading in something from Multibeast?

Update: Seems to be working on "FaceTime", even though 'About this Mac > System Information > Camera' still can't even see it.

I am having this same issue. Really need to solve it. The microphone on my camera is detected but I can't record anything on quicktime. I am on high Sierra and have a Logitech c922. I've installed usbgeneric and usbinjectall kexts but they didn't fix the issue. Is there a special webcam kext or something?
